“Children are our most precious natural resource. Through a child’s eyes war, hunger, and all other horrors of mankind cease to exist; if only for a short while. It does not matter how much your net worth is, or when the next bills are due. To a child all that matters are the stolen moments filled with love, and maybe a little imagination.”

This Moment
A Friday ritual. A single photo-no words- capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember."SouleMama".
Oh my, this brings back memories, my little man used to do the same thing. How fun! Did he knock it down when he was finished? Have the most wonderful weekend. xo
It's almost taller than he is! Such good memories of when my girls were this age and would build fabulously tall towers too!
Our moment this week comes from my oldest daughter's eighth birthday celebration! I cannot believe that Grace is eight already! Seems like just yesterday she was born! http://www.ouronesweetfamily.blogspot.com/2014/07/this-moment.html

ReplyDeletehe loves to knock them down, but wont till he uses all 10 blocks :) take care.
DeleteLook at him! Builder of towers, how lovely. :-) Mine is still in the destruction phase. LOL! What a precious moment.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week-end!
I don't think they ever get out of the destruction phase, but they do get in the building over the rubble phase at some point ;)

Have a lovely weekend!
Great capture--the black and white shot adds so much to the drama of it!
ReplyDeletethanks, shhh, it's a secret, but the black and white is to hide the crummy morning light. Don't tell ;)
DeleteOh what a gorgeous photo - definitely one to savour and save for when he's bigger to look back on :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, I will.
Deletei love the size of the blocks...and the black and white to highlight his focus!!!
ReplyDeletethey are a set of 10 nesting blocks. It's funny but he insists on using all 10, every time.
DeleteAww, what a busy little builder. Those are big cubes he's handling there!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a lovely week.
xoxo
